About Rachel

 A Lifelong Love for Photography

Photography has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. My mum was a photographer, and I grew up watching her capture beautiful moments with her old film cameras. I was completely fascinated by the process—seeing her black-and-white images come to life, each one telling a story. There was something magical about capturing people and their emotions.

Motherhood & the Inspiration Behind My Work

Becoming a mum changed everything for me—including the way I saw photography. Suddenly, I wanted to hold onto every little moment—every laugh, every tiny expression, so I could remember them forever. My camera became part of my everyday life, not just for my own family but for friends too. Before I knew it, what started as a personal passion turned into something more—a way to help others capture the moments that mean the most.

Why I Love What I Do

Now, as a family photographer, I feel so lucky to do what I love. Whether it’s welcoming a newborn, celebrating the love between family members, or just capturing the beauty in everyday life, I want to create images that feel real, ones that truly reflect the connection and love in your family.
